The ground beef in some HelloFresh meal kits shipped to customers over the summer might have been contaminated with E. coli
The affected products were shipped to customers between July 2-22 and are no longer available to buy, so a full recall was not issued.
The affected beef had the following codes on the side of their packages: “EST#46841 L1 22 155″ or “EST#46841 L5 22 155.”Anyone who might have frozen the meat and have not consumed it yet is urged to throw it away.or speak with a representative via live chat. For food safety questions, consumers can call the toll-free USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854 between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
