The Vancouver Sun and The Province newsroom claimed two of B.C.’s top journalism awards Wednesday.
“The opioid crisis and the future of city policing are issues of critical importance in our community,” said editor-in-chief Harold Munro. “The excellent reporting by Lori Culbert and Dan Fumano raised serious questions and kept both issues firmly in the spotlight.
The Jack Webster Awards recognizes the best work in B.C. journalism in print, online, broadcast and radio.
