The meeting took place at the Novo in Los Angeles, California.

An audience member asked what she would say to a person who said that, to them, marriage meant one man and one woman. Warren also said she regrets saying transition-related surgery for transgender inmates was a poor use of tax dollars saying,"It was a bad answer." Harris also connected homelessness with affordable housing. Her plan is to give a tax credit to anyone spending more than 30 percent of their income on rent and utilities.
