In response to the remark’s inevitable push-back, Abdullah tweeted white people to leave black folks alone on Juneteenth ,the president of CSULA “revoke all permits” of the campus Young Americans for Freedom chapter for displaying “Build the Wall” signage, and“We can never believe police, especially the Chicago Police Department.” She referred to Smollett as a “Black man who has been courageously present, visible, and vocal in the struggle for Black freedom.
