The Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health has been chosen as the charity of choice for the upcoming Tim Hortons smile cookie campaign in Durham Region.
The 74 locations across the region will donate the proceeds from the cookie campaign to the foundation.
“The funds and awareness inspired by Smile Cookie week will create a sense of hope for people living with mental health challenges, as well as help combat the persistent stigma.” Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, a specialized mental health hospital in Whitby, provides exemplary mental health care to inpatients and out patients in Durham Region and across Ontario.
