A pro-Palestinian encampment with about 100 participants has sprung up on a sports field at the University of British Columbia's Point Grey campus in protest of the Israel-Hamas war.Posted: Apr 29, 2024 5:51 PM EDT | Last Updated: 33 minutes ago

Located on MacInnes Field near the bus loop, about 100 participants listened to speeches after putting up a dozen tents and a little library on Monday. A statement released by organizers says the group "do not talk to cops or campus security" and "do not engage with agitators or counter-protesters."
