The young royal wore a horseshoe shaped brooch in honor of her late great-grandmother.
Princess Charlotte paid a sweet tribute to her late great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, at her state funeral today.
The seven-year-old attended today's final service in dedication to the late sovereign alongside her parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and her older brother, Prince George. Princess Charlotte arrived to the ceremony at Westminster Abbey with her mother and brother in tow, and was later photographed inside near her aunt Meghan, the duchess of Sussex.
She wore a black coat dress paired with opaque tights and black ballet flats for the occasion, as well as a wide-brim hat like her mothers. Her look also included a special detail in honor of the queen. Pinned to the front of her coat dress was a dainty silver horseshoe brooch, assumed to be a nod to her grandmother's famous love of horses.
"I asked her how the children were, and she said Charlotte is really enjoying her riding which is great to hear,"
