After two months of relying on video calls from his office to catch up with good causes,has returned to in-person royal duties in order to thank frontline NHS workers for their hard work.
The Duke of Cambridge has been locked down, like the rest of the UK, since March. He has been isolating with the Duchess of Cambridge and their three children – Charlotte, George and Louis – at Amner Hall in Norfolk.Yesterday afternoon, he made his first official in-person public duty since the pandemic began to visited the King's Lynn Ambulance Station at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
William joked with ambulance crew and staff: 'I'm worried about the waistline of the nation as well with all the chocolate and cakes. I've done a lot of baking at home. Chocolate goes down very well.'
