The City of Prince George issued more than $250 million worth of building permits last year.

Despite a slow December, the City of Prince George issued a record $251.72 million worth of building permits in 2022.

Over the course of 2022, the city approved 22 permits for new multi-family developments worth a combined $73.8 million, 95 new single-family homes worth a combined $53.86 million, 17 new mobile homes worth a combined $3 million and 10 new duplexes worth a combined $5.95 million. Six new institutional buildings and numerous residential renovations and additions made up the remainder of the building permits issued last year.
