The goal is $40,000 by Jan. 15

The Prince George Humane Society has launched its Tails of Triumph Fundraiser, a month-long campaign dedicated to providing second chances for vulnerable animals in Prince George and surrounding areas.Throughout the month, 50 local individuals will rally their networks for donations, striving toward the collective goal of reaching $40,000. On Jan. 15, participants are encouraged to visit the PGHS location at 1839 1st Avenue, where the first 50 visitors will receive a $10 gift card from Mr.

The PGHS has seen a significant increase in animal surrenders over the past year, while donations have dropped to a record low, the release states. Rising operational costs, particularly for veterinary care, have further strained the charity's resources.
