“We continue to see an uptick in people using our airport, although we aren’t close to pre-pandemic passenger levels.'
Compared to the same quarter last year, departing and arriving passenger traffic is up 44 per cent, Prince George Airport Authority said Thursday.
“We continue to see an uptick in people using our airport, although we aren’t close to pre-pandemic passenger levels. This is good, healthy growth.” said PGAA CEO Gordon Duke. “We continue to monitor flight loads, schedules and community feedback to bring suggestions forward to our air carrier partners.”
Starting May 1, WestJet is increasing its direct service between Prince George and Calgary by two additional flights each week.
