Even though the daughter of Faith McIntyre and Richard Allen had a lower-than-usual body weight, she remained focused. Katelynn Allen displays a participant medal with her mother, Faith McIntyre, following the completion of competition at the International Powerlifting Federation world sub-junior and junior classic and equipped powerlifting championships. Allen, from Charlottetown, finished fourth in the 76-kg weight class.
