Prince Edward County working to improve healthcare infrastructure
Prince Edward County is forming a group to address healthcare infrastructure needs in The County.
During Thursday’s Committee of the Whole meeting, councilors voted to name councilors Sam Grosso, Brad Nieman, and Kate McNaughton to the Primary Care Infrastructure Working Group. The team is meant to address office and housing solutions for primary care practitioners, which are currently not addressed by existing healthcare recruitment and retention programs.
The Committee approved establishing the group, and referred the matter to municipal council for final approval.
