Today's cabinet shuffle comes days after former deputy prime minister and finance minister Chrystia Freeland resigned suddenly, spurring an emboldened movement within the Liberal caucus to push Trudeau out of the leadership. According to multiple sources who spoke to CBC News and Radio-Canada, Ottawa MP David McGuinty and Toronto MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith will join Trudeau's cabinet. Sources have told Radio-Canada the shuffle will involve at least ten people.
