Yves Laurencelle, a cattle and blueberry farmer, told Trudeau that while it’s fine if assistance is targeted, farmers can’t afford to wait. “It’s not the fault of the people who are working, it’s the crisis we’re going through, but I’m telling you, Mr. Trudeau, there has to be aid quickly.”
