Tuesday is Primary Day in New Jersey and six other states. Voters will choose who will get to run in November's mid-term elections.
All 12 of New Jersey's seats in the United States House of Representatives are open. Democrats currently hold 10 of those seats. There are also several local elections.
This is the first primary election since district maps were redrawn in December 2021. The latest redistricting has impacted more than 1.4 million residents. To find your district, clickPolls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. You must be registered to vote as either a Democrat, Republican or unaffiliated in order to cast a ballot. New York will be holding two primaries this year before the general election in November.
