The Group Health Centre is a progressive multi-specialty ambulatory care health care organization and is one of Canada’s first consumer-sponsored health care facilities. As Ontario’s largest and longest-established alternatively funded healthcare organization, Group Health Centre provides primary care to over 50,000 Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District residents, as well as various clinical programs to our entire community.
Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessment, care planning and nutrition education for patients and familiesDirect experience working with all ages spanning the lifecycle Demonstrated professional knowledge of nutrition therapy and experience working with primary care providers, patients and caregivers
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and other agencies, displaying good clinical judgment and decision-making skillsWell-developed self-awareness, self-management and social awareness skills Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersInterested applicants are asked to submit a cover letter and resume indicating their qualifications for the position by the application deadline.
