Long’s 1-0 win over Northside Methodist Academy in high school boys soccer action on Tuesday night.Eufaula 1, Carroll 0: Mario Martinez scored in the first half off a corner kick for Eufaula in 1-0 Class 5A, Area 2 win over Carroll.Enterprise 10, Percy Julian 0: Drew Suter and Jonathan Alonzo both had three goals and Alonzo added two assists in the Wildcats’ Class 7A, Area 3 rout.
Recor added a second goal while Emma Edler and Ashlyn Yarbrough also scored two goals each. Audrey McDonald, Edie Chancey, Leilani Faulk and Alyssa Bonilla each added a goal.Enterprise 10, Percy Julian 0: Rhiannon Wallace and Evelyn Holmes-Smith had two goals each and Holmes-Smith added two assists to lead Enterprise in the Class 7A, Area 3 win.
AddyKate Booker, Stella Retherford, Abigail Lowe, Julianna Martin and Elle Cadden had one goal each. The other score was an own goal from Percy Julian.Taylor Waters had the shutout in goal. Northside Methodist 7, G.W. Long 1: Presley Kinney had three goals and an assists and Sydney Warren and Ali Scott both had two goals with Warren adding one assist to lead the Knights’ win.The G.W. Long goal was scored by Carley Pritchett with an assist from Kathryn Moore. Kenzie Kramer had 22 saves.Kaylee Deese had the shutout in goal for Geneva.
