Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum made history after he became the franchise's youngest-ever player to reach 10,000 points.
Staff Reports HOLTVILLE --- A 79-yard fumble return by Caleb Dozier early in the third quarter erased a halftime deficit and helped propel Headland to a 30-20 Class 5A state playoff win at Holtville Friday.
Holtville responded on the next drive with a 1-yard score from quarterback Keiland Baker. But Headland scored quickly on a 35-yard pass from Williams to Dozier to make it 16-13 with a minute left in the half. Elba advanced to a second-round showdown with seventh-ranked Millry next Friday at Tiger Stadium at Mack Wood Field. University Charter ended the season 5-6.
Elba led 56-0 at halftime and the second half was played with eight minute quarters and a running clock.
