Pregnant asylum seeker got stuck in snow near Manitoba border

Emerson-Franklin Reeve Dave Carlson said the 25-year-old woman, who was nine months pregnant, was very lucky firefighters located her quickly Saturday morning. "It's definitely dangerous," Carlson said in an interview on Tuesday."You can get yourself in a bad situation quickly, especially someone in the condition she is in."A family, claiming to be from Columbia, is arrested by RCMP officers as they cross the border into Canada from the U.S. as asylum seekers on April 18, 2018 near Champlain, N.Y.
