The woman bought the Powerball second-prize ticket earlier this month through the Jackpocket app
winners have the option to remain anonymousThe woman said she woke up at 3 a.m on April 16, about four hours after the drawing and saw an email telling her she had won, the winner told Jackpocket.
At first she didn’t think it was real, but soon realized she won and spent the next four hours pacing around before calling a friend at 7 a.m., Jackpocket said in a press release. The winner said she plans to spend most of the money on her grandchildren, including the youngest who just turned 2. She is planning a trip to Disney World with her family, along with other vacations.
