Postmedia staff and projects were Thursday honoured with nominations in five categories at the 2019 Digital Publishing Awards, run by the National Media Awards Foundation. The awards promote unique achievements by writers, editors, designers, producers and others who have stood out in the field of digital publishing in Canada.
For Follow the Money, a hugely ambitious initiative to track political donations, former Postmedia employee Zane Schwartz and teams at the National Post and Calgary Herald are nominated for Innovation in Digital Storytelling. The category rewards a creation, project or concept that “leverages data-driven technology or design to enhance storytelling.
