Porsche Unveils Its Gen3 Competitor For The 2023 Formula E Series | Carscoops carscoops
Porsche today took the wraps off the 99X Electric Gen3, its competitor for the 2023 season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. All new for the coming year, the Gen3 racecar is more powerful and more technically impressive than its predecessor.
Featuring an updated livery, the race car is supposed to have a “striking” new look that was inspired by the Porsche brand purpose “Driven by Dreams”. It is also intended to appeal to a younger target audience.Mostly, though, it was designed to fit around new body work that was required by the Gen3 Formula E car that was unveiled in April of this year. Described as the series’ fastest car to date, it’s also the smallest car the series has raced.
