Food-wise, the fast food chain is known for its fried chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets, served with a side of waffle fries and house-made special sauce. In the public arena, however, Chick-fil-A has a more ominous reputation — staunch anti-LGBTQ views framed explicitly around chairman and former CEO Dan Cathy’s conservative Christian beliefs.
