Deep, drifting snow and ice were reported among other poor road conditions.
Freezing rain also fell in parts of Southcentral Alaska on Sunday, contributing to icy road conditions across the region. In Anchorage, light freezing rain began falling Sunday morning — “just enough to make it slick out there,” Christensen said — but the rain was expected to pick up through the evening, leaving anywhere from a trace amount of ice up to one-hundredth of an inch.weather advisory
