The numbers suggest that the Liberals are likely to govern to the left, because that’s where they have the opportunity to keep supporters happy, said Jedwab. “People have a tendency to think that wealthier people are more to the right — but not in Canada,” said Jedwab. “It’s a lot more nuanced.”
