Hicks, 32, is believed to have posed as females on social media sites, including Maria Winchester, Brittany Campbell, Isabella Ricci and Corrine Smith , as well as a male called Bradol15 on social media and dating sites, using the aliases to arrange sexual acts while keeping his true identity hidden.
“These people are not alone. It’s evident now,” he said of the complainants. “There’s power in numbers and we’re really seeing that as part of this investigation.” Child psychologist Dr. Janine Hubbard joined Cadigan for the media briefing Tuesday, offering advice to parents about discussing the news and social media safety with children.
