The woman’s death marks the city’s 17th homicide so far this year.
Homicide investigators in Toronto are seeking help identifying a woman whose dismembered body was discovered inside a plastic bag in Leslieville on Monday.Tuesday said the dead woman’s body had “obvious signs of trauma … including some dismemberment.”
She was wearing a red, long-sleeved Armani Exchange shirt, police said, adding they hope people who may have been in the area Monday morning can help the investigation. Police also appealed for any drivers with dashcams who may have been in the neighbourhood at the time to get in touch.
