A command post was set up on the scene, while “various specialists from the Emergency Response Unit of the Sûreté du Québec are mobilized on site to help with land, nautical and aerial searches.”Advertisement 3The Royal Canadian Air Force’s Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre also deployed CH-146 Griffon helicopters and a CC-130 Hercules aircraft to assist in the search. A Canadian Coast Guard ship is also on site in support.
