Police say the boy has limited communication skills.

A 10-year-old boy was reported missing on Tuesday morning and police are asking for the public's help to locate him.

RCMP was notified that Osman Abdulwahid was last seen at about 5 a.m. in the 9600-block of 148 Street in Surrey. "Osman’s communication skills are limited and he may only be able to provide short answers," says Cpl. Vanessa Munn in a news release.The boy is being described by police as African/Middle Eastern. He is about five-foot tall, 121 pounds and has dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, black shirt, orange shorts with a black stripe on the side and white basketball shoes. Anyone with information about Abdulwahid's whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and remain with him until police arrive.
