Police are searching for a male suspect who is wanted in connection with a recent sexual assault in Whitby.
A photo of the vehicle used by the suspect who sexually assaulted a female in Whitby on Jan. 12. said they were called to the area of Victoria Street East and Thickson Road south just after 4 a.m. on Jan. 12 for reports of a sexual assault.
The suspect then allegedly drove the victim to the area of Moore Court and William Smith Drive in Whitby, where he proceeded to sexually assault her. His vehicle is described by police as a newer black pickup truck with automatic running boards and black leather seats. Police said the victim reported seeing construction helmets in the back seat.
