The building was cleared and no one was injured, but several students shared their concerns and outrage with WPXI about the college’s failure to alert them of the situation through the Emergency Notification System. The University of Pittsburgh released a statement, saying that the notifications through the ENS system were “delayed and flawed” and that the university is “currently reviewing the system and retraining our communicators.” The full statement
