Mounties are searching for a man who fired a gun near the Jordie Lunn Bike Park in Langford, B.C., early Monday morning.

The suspect is described as a white man, between 40 and 50 years old, who stands approximately 6'1" tall and weighs between 250 and 300 pounds.

The West Shore RCMP say police responded to multiple 911 calls from residents in the Irwin Road area around 12:25 a.m. One witness told police they had an interaction with a lone man who brandished a gun in the area, the RCMP said in a release Tuesday. The suspect is described as a white man, between 40 and 50 years old, who stands approximately 6'1" tall and weighs between 250 and 300 pounds.
