Public told to expect heavy police presence at intersection of Paris and Larch streets
There has been a serious assault in downtown Sudbury, Greater Sudbury Police reported early Thursday morning.
Police said in a tweet issued at 8:04 a.m. March 9 to expect heavy police presence at the intersection of Paris and Larch streets. Officers are on scene of a serious assault, the tweet said, adding that a man had been located with serious injuries. He was being transported to hospital by paramedics.Community members are asked to avoid this area of the downtown.
