Three people have been charged with affray and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court next month
Police were called to Forest Fields after paramedics reported that a man had been stabbed in a fight at a block of flats. Officers were called to the scene on Foxhall Road shortly after 2am on Sunday, July 7, after paramedics informed the force that someone had been stabbed.
The victim had been left with a cut to his face and a stab wound to his chest after a fight occurred at a block of flats. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said. Richard Crawford, 38, and Shide Dadd, 36, both of Foxhall Road, as well as 30-year-old Fahren Liddell, of Quernby Road, Nottingham, have all been charged with affray. All three suspects appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 8.
They will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday, August 5. Detective Chief Inspector Claire Gould, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “A man has suffered nasty injuries as a result of this incident and the consequences could have been even more serious. “Detectives have worked hard to secure charges against these three men and I’m pleased they have now been placed before the courts.”
