The bike, worth over $3,000, was located June 27 and police believe it might have been stolen, but the theft was not reported
West Shore RCMP are hoping to find the owner of an electric bike found abandoned near the 900-block of Bear Mountain Parkway in Langford.Anyone who had an electric bike taken recently and believes it’s the Bear Mountain one is asked to contact West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. Proof of ownership will be required.
West Shore RCMP noted that they have a free bike-registry program where owners provide police with details like a bike’s serial number so it can be returned if stolen.
