A Wawa resident is facing a number of charges, including forcible confinement, after a domestic dispute.

Just before 8 p.m. on July 20, officers with the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the dispute on First Avenue in Wawa.The name of the accused was not released by police due to the domestic nature of the incident in order to protect the identity of the victim. The accused is scheduled to appear in court in August.
