Incident took place near a Terrace school Feb. 29
Terrace RCMP are looking for any information following a report of an assault on a child near Ecole Mountainview school Feb. 29.
“The assault is alleged to have involved a male suspect and occurred in or near a wooded area adjacent to the school grounds during the noon hour break,” said Terrace RCMP Constable Kelly Cates. The school and the school district are working with the RCMP to further investigate the report and nature of the incident.
Ecole Mountainview is School District 82’s French immersion school in Terrace teaching kindergarten to Grade 6 students. It is located on Bailey St. on the Bench. Police say there are no suspects and are asking if anyone saw anything suspicious in the area of the school between Feb. 26 and Feb. 29.
