Toronto police said first responders were called about a body in Lake Ontario near Marie Curtis Park at 7 a.m. Const. Laura Brabant said responders found a woman’s body at the edge of a beach.
A woman found in the water near an Etobicoke park on Saturday morning is dead.
Brabant added the woman “appeared to have washed up on the shoreline.” Police said first responders pulled the woman from the water and paramedics performed life-saving measures.A coroner is investigating, Brabant said. She said police are trying to identify the woman.
