A man shot and killed in the city's downtown core on Saturday night has now been identified by Toronto police.
Officers were called to the area of Dundas Street East and George Street shortly before 7 p.m. for a reported shooting.
According to investigators, a suspect approached the victim, who has now been identified as Elijah Eleazar Mahepath, and shot him multiple times.The suspect was last seen walking westbound on Dundas Street East. He has been described by police as a Black male between 35 and 40 years old, with short hair, and was seen wearing a light-coloured, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a light blue surgical mask.Share:
