OPP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Manitoulin Island but ended up having to hike along a trail to search for the driver

A Sudbury driver is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash on Manitoulin Island in the early morning hours of Aug. 3.

“Officers attended the scene and walked several kilometres into the trail to locate the driver of the vehicle,” OPP said.
