Police dismantle large 'unsafe' homeless encampment in southeast Calgary

Crews continued to clean up a large homeless encampment hidden in a forested stretch of Crown land in the city\u0027s southeast on Wednesday.

Entitled “Operation Encampment,” the process of disestablishing the entrenched camp began Monday. CPS worked alongside city bylaw officers, conservation officers and medical personnel, and outreach teams with Alpha House were on site to provide supports to the people living in the camp.
