THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Police continue to investigate what they are only describing as a reported "weapons incident" Sunday at a South May Street location.Police aren't providing specifics, but at least one individual is believed to have reported hearing gunshots in the vicinity.

Members of the public were initially asked to avoid the area while the initial investigation was underway. In a brief update Monday afternoon, TBPS said the investigation is ongoing, and that further details may be provided later. In the interim, anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 684-1200, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or online at www.p3tips.com.
