THUNDER BAY – Police have arrested a Thunder Bay man in connection with a stabbing that took place in the city’s north end early Thursday morning.
Police officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the zero-to-100 block of Cumberland Street South around 3:40 a.m., locating and arresting a suspect without incident within 10 minutes. An investigation indicated the victim and the accused, two males who were known to each other, had been conversing outside before the stabbing occurred.
Paramedics with Superior North EMS transported the victim to the regional hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
