AKRON, Ohio — A 30-year-old man is facing an aggravated murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting in December in the Kenmore neighborhood.
Christopher Jones was arrested last week, according to Akron police. A handgun was recovered during the arrest, police say. He is being held in the Summit County Jail.of Eddie Johnson 42, of Akron, on Dec. 18. Police were called to the 2300 block of 29th Street SW at about 3:25 p.m. A person who had become concerned about not hearing from Johnson went to check on him and found him inside, police say.
