Poilievre 'sitting next to our phone waiting' for Trudeau to update on public inquiry cdnpoli
The government has not committed to a full public inquiry, but Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc, who has been meeting with MPs from all parties on the issue, has said it is an option they are willing to consider.
Poilievre said his party has offered up ideas and is just waiting for the prime minister to commit publicly to a full public inquiry. During Friday’s press conference, Poilievre also took aim at the Liberals’ economic record. The Conservative leader said he would force municipalities to approve 15-per-cent more housing every year than the year before or face a loss of federal grants.
