The leadership race, which at times took a nasty and divisive tone, didn’t wrap up until September when Poilievre took the race on the first ballot. Since then, there has been a massive turnover of party staff and people in key volunteer positions in the party’s leadership. Totals for the other parties are expected to be released later Monday but if trends continue, the Conservatives will outperform their rivals as they had in previous quarterly findings. From April 1 to June 30, while the party was leaderless, the Conservatives raised $4.4 million more than the Liberals and New Democrats $ combined.
