Whoever they want me to fight , but the name that's on the table right now is. “So we're still in negotiations… I don’t know, we’re still in talks, I would like to fight around August but nothing concrete yet.” While Ankalaev is the more dominant grappler of the two potential foes, Pereira claims that he has yet to show everything he can do on the ground.
"Well, they are different styles. Everybody talks about Ankalaev, talks about his ground but they don't know my ground ,” he said. “But it’s hard to tell because both different styles of fighting.” Prochazka initially faced Pereira at UFC 295, falling via second-round TKO in a light heavyweight title bout at Madison Square Garden in New York. The Czech Republic native returned to the win column with a second-round stoppage ofat UFC 300 on April 13.
