PLYMOUTH, YARMOUTH COUNTY, NS – The Plymouth Recreation Hall in Yarmouth County will receive $86,000 for improvements including roof repairs, and electrical and carpentry work, through the provincial Communities Facilities Improvement Program.
"Our government is pleased to announce this funding for the Plymouth Recreation Hall. This community space will again become a hub for gatherings and celebrations for future generations,” said Argyle MLA Colton LeBlanc in announcing the funding. “With this funding, much-needed repairs can help the association create a more welcoming environment and ensure that it continues to serve the community," he said in a media release.
The Communities Facilities Improvement Program emphasizes the importance of building up Nova Scotia through investing in local infrastructure to ensure ongoing repairs to buildings and infrastructure that are integral to the long-term sustainability of facilities, the media release stated.'It's been a nightmare': Mother of missing man from Truro, N.S.
