PLEASANT HILL — A woman was in county jail after her arrest Wednesday night on suspicion of multiple charges in connection with an attack on a woman and a barricaded standoff involving a 2-year-old child, authorities said.
After speaking with the victim, they learned that she fled the home after a 31-year-old woman had attacked her, and that the woman had locked herself inside the home with a 2-year-old child. They also learned that the woman might have a firearm inside the home. Other officers soon learned that the suspect had an active felony kidnapping warrant in Solano County for a case involving the same child where, police believed, she had threatened to take both the child’s life and her own life.
